26.0108	5 July 1956	Ndola	Adoptee	Ndola Hospital	Female	I am told that I was born on a Thursday and that I was flown to Livingston on a Sunday as this is where my adoptive parents were living at the time. I weighed 6lbs 10oz at birth, was chubby and had blue eyes. I had a belly button Hernia (umbilical) at birth and arrived with a penny and a plaster over the area.

14.12.05	15 January 1964	Ndola	Adoptee	Ndola Hospital	Male	Adoptee was not able to get much info only that he was told that his grandfather was possibly a Doctor or a Lawyer and forced his daughter to give the child up for adoption. His adopted father was British and with the Royal Scotland Yard in Zamibia at the time of the adoption.

She knows that her mother wanted her to be brought up a Roman Catholic and that her mother was about 18/19 when she gave birth. She believes that her birthmother may now be living in England.
22.12.06	21 August 1971	Lusaka	Adoptee	General Hospital	Female	I was adopted in 1971 or 1972 by 2 asian doctors. I am asian too and my birth mothers name is Dayamanti Patel. She was under 20 years of age when I was born and left at the hospital. My adopted mother died 2 years ago and it is only now I feel that I can begin the search for my birth mother. I have a daughter who is 18 months old and would love her to know her origins.
